Wally continued to clean and ignored you. “You okay Wally?” You asked as you noticed his clenched hands.
“Of course Y/n.” Sammy said as you heard Wally clear his throat. “What did I say to call me? My name is Y/n.” You laughed as you brought out your equipment. If Joey would actually pay for repairs, you would not be in this mess.” Sammy explained as you shrugged your shoulders. You arrived in Sammy’s office who was shaking his head looking at the spill. Wally followed you down since he was asked to clean the spill. That damn pipe continues to break and you are usually there to repair it.
It was another day in the studio where you were running to clean up Sammy Lawrence’s office. It was so obvious to everyone except the two love-sick fools. They got disgusted seeing these puppy-dog eyed looks when the other wasn’t looking. Henry would tell him it was obvious that you loved him as he loved you which caused Wally to just make Henry shut up.Įveryone but you two in the office knew that you and Wally should date. Henry was always there to tell him to quit fretting which would make Wally continue to deny it. You deserve someone strong like Sammy or Tom. Henry always seemed to push you to ask Wally to dinner or something but you were too afraid.Īs for Wally, he figured you did not deserve him. While this was just a way to tease you about it, Henry was the only one who knew about your crush on Wally and his crush on you. You were teased a ton by your best friend Henry that you two could not live without each other. If you were in one room, Wally was sure to follow. The two of you were not seen without each other. The poor man did not have a job due to the Great Depression and since the studio was in town, he offered his cleaning services to Joey Drew. Since your work began at Joey Drew, you because very close to a funny yet nervous man by the name of Wally Franks. Joey enjoyed having someone who knew about engineering and could help run the studio especially for the random pipe bursts of ink.
